Omega-3 Vs. Omega-6
There's more than one type of fatty acid-in fact, there are two, and they work in fundamentally different ways. The first is omega-3 fatty acids, which are found in fish, certain plants and omega-3 fish oil tablets. The second is omega-6, which are more prominent in fats and grains. Generally, people consume much more omega-6 than omega-3, which can cause uncomfortable health problems. This is because the two are directly opposed to each other. Long-Chain and Short-Chain Omega-3s
